Hello Folks,
I'm new to this forum, though a few you of might know me from several other forums. :D
Well, I guess the best introduction on a knife forum is to show some of your knives.
I admit, I don't have too many.
My favorites are my Sage FFFBM and RMD

Here my survival thigh rig. A bit heavy. :D

Here are some folders.

and yes that beat Griptilian is still in action.
I also have a Microtech SOCOM Elite in S90V and a CSK.

Thanks for viewing and Noss, keep up the good work!!!!

I love my rig. Right now, RW is making me another drop-let attachment. :D
Can't wait for that.
EMF,
Yes, my SOCOM is in S90V. Good Steel. :D
It's also ridiculously sharp. It can put a deep slash in a water bottle with out even moving it.

I guess it's safe to say he already has all the Scrapyard knives.

it's sooo comfy!! it probably is about as good a chopper as your fbm, but alot more affordable and comfortable...(and plenty tough!) pretty much meaning, you just won't be able to resist using it! :D
do you still have two fbm's noss? what did you do with the other one? |

Yes.. I still have 2 fbm's. I really want a Dog Father. The handles are fantastic from my use of the Scrapper 6.

yeah, if you're choping for a long time they help, and they help cusion the impact from batoning too. two days ago (easter sunday) my cousin and I were batoning this huge stump of a tree, with very hard wood.
(it was actually this tree...)

and we bent and pried as much as we could and we got alot of flex out of the knives, but nothing like scrapyards torutre testing. thats why I like your tests, because I can know what the knife can take, so I will be able to use it to it's full potential without worry.
they're pretty beat up now, we would pry with one then stick the other under it and pry and so on. it was pretty awesome... we would use sooo much leverage and grab stuff to pull with all our strength, eventually we split it.

it was pretty fun.
I'm glad to see you kept the other FBM and didn't destry it, you need some knives for yourself! :D |

Very cool. Looks like a fun time. Both knives look well used. It's always great to use like this. Some people just don't use a knife to it's full potential. I appreciate the knife much more when I'm out knocking it around. First it's just fun to use one and not just look at it. second until one gets out there and sees for them self what thier knife can do. They will never understand it's potential.

yep. well put!
I just enjoy using them, and you gain a certain amount of repect for the knife and what it can handle. |
