With so many choices in cutlery today it seems that personal choice is the only answer to the right set of tools for camping , hiking or a long duration in the bush. Some people live by the "Nessmuk Trio" and have since changed it up with modern impliments. I like a good combo but I think it comes down to the envirenment you are going to traveling in.

What do you guys prefer a Trio or Combo? Lets see them.

Very nice set up. I love that Mora 2000. I need to get me one.

This is my current woods setup. I don't have a jungle setup since I have never been there.

Busse CGFBM--Leatherman Juice CS-4--Cold Steel Roach Belly

I use to Carry a CS Kukri Machete for my chopper but I replaced my goto blade with the Busse CGFBM

bush, I like all your setups, the only thing I would change for the wood trio is instead of a machette, I would have had a big knife, like an rd9 or dogfather type blade, they are alot more sturdy and in the woods you might find yourself batoning alot.
no doubt you could do it with that trio, it would be easier with a big bowie IMO.

noss, that setup is awesome!
do you thjink you would replace the roach belly with a mora?

If I bought the Mora I probably would carry it instead, If I liked it. I have never held or used one yet. I like the idea of having a stainless steel fixed blade I can keep clean for food prep. My heavy chopper gets very dirty.
