From my own experience, if you're planning to use Trance/SubCom for daily tasks like pilling an apple (who am I kidding, we do that with the Magnum:D:D) or opening the mail, I'd take the plain edged versions. However, my collection has a black theme... (why did I chose black in the beginning???)
Anyways, if you take the SubCom/Trance, you'd better pick up some phosphorus bronze washers, like mentioned at BF http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=532020
Tough choice: a longbow, a EKI CQC 12, an EdgePro Apex or a Böker Plus Rampage in the next 3 months... Help me out!!!

One more thing, the CRKT Triumph NECK has a superb design, but the quality is crap. I like the kydex sheath a lot, but mostly the Merc-Harnass, I like the Merc-Harnass so much, I'm gonna order 2 of them next week

Thanks for the advice. I have been wanting an EdgePro Apex myself so I say go with it.
