It has a selective hardened blade which bends under pressure and doesn't break so fast
--> you can't pry with it

quick and dirty translation in a online translator the double checked by me

Introduced with Swedish special ops as well as the Finnish military.

The blade is out of Carbon steel with 0.6% carbon share, has a flat bow and is "out of the box" very sharp. A peculiarity is the selective hardening. At the cutting edge are it ca. 58° Rockwell, in the area of the blade back ca. 45-50° Rockwell. A breach of the blade is through it only very heavily possible. In order to avoid Reflection and to protect the blade against rust this with a special Teflon coating is accommodated.

The knife comes with a plastic sheath (10% glass fiber, 90% Polypropylan). Below it has a small opening out of which water can flow off. The knife sits with an extra security strap at the handle certainly in the sheath and is held over a rubber roll. This system permits an one-handed and soft pulling and putting back of the knife and protects this outstanding knife against loss.

One can carry the knife as well as usually at the belt of or also at the shoulder belt the paddock deceit stand carry and/or can secure to a munitions vest. The nylon belt volume equipped with Klettverschluß lets for that from loop and by a vertical appropriate opening stretch.

The handle is out of Thermoplast and has a landslide and handy surface. The added eyelet in the handle can be pierced as required in order to use it with a capture strap.

Total length: 276 mm of blade length: 152 mm of blade strength: 5.4 mm of weight without sheath: 204 g

I like the Sissipuukko. If you don't need to pry it's fine.

I have been looking for years to find the perfect survival knife. I read hundreds of reviews.
I think the A1 performs very, very well but the tang broke after 4 hammer hits
That's somehow strange.

Who believes to know the "best survival knife"
