WOW !! you have a a lot of nice knives. Thanks for sharing your video. Thanks for showing the assisted opening Gerber. I did not
know exacly how this worked. This is why video is so GREAT ! I am out of touch when It comes to folders. I'm mainly into fixed blades. I have some catching up to do in the folder department. I also liked the Colt Hatchet with the knife in the handle. Cool design. How do the hatchets perform I have looked at them at my local sporting good stores.

i havent used the hatchet yet it is no longer made and cost $90.00 so i think ill use it for camping but not for every day tasks i know the gerber gator hatchet is really nice i had one and it was sweetat chopping and it kept such a good edge id use it for cutting instead of pullin out the knife lol i loved it and used it often until i was campin whith my friend and he fell and twisted his ankle really bad and i had carry him to the nearest road to get a ride to town and i left it in my tent and by the time i got a ride back there most of our good camping equipment was missing

They have a new Colt model different then the one in your video. It looks nice. And the price is only about 25 bucks. Sorry some jerks stole your camping gear. That would piss me off.

I love the Gerber hatchet. It's a top performer in my book. I use it mainly now for cutting off the bone part of chicken wings before frying. When my friends and I get together for midnight cookouts. Nothing works better for me then the Gerber for this.
