Awesome photo. Good thing you chose to get the jungle Primitive without the saw. In the test the saw was useless and weakened the blade. A solid thick spine is always the way to go.

Nice Swamp Battle Rat I like the tan handle on it. the knife looks nice and solid. Let me know how it performs ?

Will do. I've never been into saw teeth on a knife. If you need a saw then use a saw thats my opion. I have also cut through some 2x4's with the SOG and like the way it digs in. I also think it's better than my TOPS at chopping.

The SOG did great at chopping. It took deep bites in the wood. I'm not into Saws on knives either. I think they are mainly eye candy to lurer buyers.

You know, I wonder if you get a free bandana with the purchase of a Rambo knife?

They probably charge a bit more. But I'm sure it's an option when you place an order

I am VERY pissed off at my brand new SOG. I was chopping into a 2x4 and noticed that the blade was starting to to WARP!!! It's just a piece of wood and I was not even using that much force!! No more SOG's for me.

Thats not good at all on wood at all. Return it if you can for a refund.
Sorry to hear this. the blade did wrap in my test but on concrete but you probably did a lot more chopping on wood than me. This is a bad thing to happen on a survival knife

I don't know why they did not use 1095 steel instead it is cheap and performs much much better. from my test I came to the conclusion that SOG just wanted to make a buck on this knife and wasn't very concerned about people using it. This Sucks for SOG

I gave it to my dad, he really likes it and he wont be doing any chopping with it. The warp is barley visable, but I noticed it right away after I finished. I only got through 1 2x4. I'll just stick with my TOPS as my mane chopper.

after one 2x4 is bad. SOG probably just rolls these off the assembly line with very little quality control. I have seen many issues with SOG knives on BF many don't like them. I hope the SEAL 2000 does better.

I read that the Fusion series is the only one made in China? I don't know much about the rest of SOG. Are they an American company?
