I recently decided to go knife-crazy and buy a couple of new knives and here they are.

I first bought a sage FFBM from the exchange on bladeforums.
I don't have a picture of the exact knife because he took it down
after I bought it, but it is new and looks just like one of these! He shipped it today so hopefully I can have it by Saturday!!

The other knife I bought was a swamp rat Ratmandu when I noticed that they were in the company store. I have always loved this knife. I have no idea when I will get it, but I can't wait!!!!

My parents loaned me several hundred dollars for these, and my brother really likes the ratmandu, so he payed for 1/2 of it in exchange for being able to use it whenever he wants. The FBM was paid for only by me. It seems like I will never be out of debt

Do you guys have any ideas for sheaths or sheath makers? I would really like a piggyback sheath, but still be able to detach the RMD and carry it alone. Any help would be great.
Man, I just can't wait until they get here!!

The perfect knife. That's easy. It is the one you don't have. The one that has yet to be made. The one that will replace the last one you bought as the perfect knife. The one that if it is made will end the desire to get another. It will be the last one you buy. The perfect knife...a blessing or a curse?

Your welcome Tac 45, alway glad to help.

And, excuse my ignorance, but which is the perfect knife?

Thanks for the info Sharp. I'm always on the lookout for a good carry sheath. It's like the perfect knife... always looking.

Mac, you SOB!!!

What are you putting as your medium knife? The Hook?

Also, are you getting the kydex belt loop? nylon?

I got both.

Your really gonna like the sheath though. You've seen what I've done with mine: Piggy back, separate, man-purse style, across the back, dundee (cross back handle facing downward to strong side), etc, etc. You should also ask Jeff for a couple of large tek-loks. They will come in handly.

I am having a rig made by Jeff for my DFCG just like Sharps FFBM rig.

Not very original but freakin sweet.

Tac 45: I honestly have no idea. It came with the duty belt that I bought from Andy and Bax. It came with two, actually. Tadgear has the SOE pouch that looks exactly like that for 20 bucks.

Noss: Thanks. I took it off cause it was just too much. All the fix blades and pouch have come off the FBM sheath. Made it a little more practical by taking everything off. They whole assembly was like 4-5 lbs or somewhere around there.

Sharp: That is a serious knife carrying rig.

Nice practical looking rigs guys. Sharp what brand is the olive fastex pouch in your last pic?
Sharp Posted - 05/09/2008 : 14:14:03
Sweet Combo. Use it well.

Here WAS my rig from Rainwalker.

Here's all the stuff in there rightful sheath.

Though, I disassembled it and now my RMD is gonna be in its own sheath.

He also made me another drop leg attachment that I don't have a picture of.

Rainwalker does some really sweet stuff. Leather work is amazing. However, he does have quite a long wait time, but the product is well worth the wait.

EMF: No problem. The sheath is nice. It is easy to add some extra gear to it using para cord.

kurodrago: INFI is very easy to sharpen. It's a lot easier than many carbon steels.

Thanks guys. Maybe I can get this one to last three hours.

Gman1128: When I get a chance I'll make a video of it in action for the forum.

EMF: No. the Kydex sheath for the CGFBM was made for me as a gift. It's bad ass. The maker did a fantastic job on it.
Some people use 3 F's to say Fat Flat Fusion Battle Mistress. I have seen it written several ways but You get the idea.
