I just bought a Mora 2000. I may use it in the kitchen.

(That statement is absolutely true) 24/7 twice a day
I can not say the same thing if I live off the land 24/7

Cool. A small axe is a very appropriate kitchen tool, hee hee hee. It would be interesting to have a dinner party and invite all the knife nuts you know. Ask them to bring their own blades. I reckon the dinner table would look rather interesting. (certainly much better than the lumps of metal used normally)

It is funny. I use my kitchen knives more then any other knife but I don't have any good ones. Mine are some of the worst you can get. However they will still slice a tomato or cut up meat. They get the job done just fine since all I want to do is eat.

I make chicken wings sometimes and I cut the end bone portion off. I use my Gerber camp hatchet for this.

Funny isn't it. I have over a hundred knives yet my kitchen knives are crap. I've offered to get my wife some Global knives. But she prefers her two large no brand made in China chefs knives. She sharpens them knife on knife. They cut very well. There are other knives but she finds them too small. I've got her to use the Roach Belly. But I'm using it as my dinner knife.

I absolutely love the big one in the pic.

Nice looking stones. I need to improve my sharpening arsenal. I also need to invest in some fine kitchen knives. The ones I have are pathetic.

xxo, nice video. Like Noss said will be nice to see whole shows. The stone for sharpening work well,I prefer twelve stroke" more than 8.

A few 300,600,1000,6000,10000 grind.

The knives with which I cook. Big one is carbon steel take me 10 minutes of sharpening for a very good edge!!
The small one is stainless take me 30 minutes and I still have a Sxxxxt edge.
I understand that stainless is much more difficult to work with, much harder than carbon steel, more difficult to shape a edge.
"Stainless" absolutely red light on the field for me.

Wow, that guy can get his knives really sharp! I wish I had the sharpeners and skills to get mine like that. I use an EZE lap diamond stone and can get them to cleanly cut paper and shave some hair, but not even close to that!

He has a cool knife too!

Great videos. I have been watching his videos on You Tube. I would like to see the whole shows.
