Please give your suggestions about what the best fighting knife of them all is. Any manufacturer, corporate or custom is fine.

Man what do you want to find ? It is imposible to find best fighter, and even if u could after a month there will be houndreds of new, meaby better fighters. Only you got to know what is the best fighter in your hand, but i dont think you want this knife for fight, only to show to your classmates or friends,or just to be an owner of best fighter, am i right ? Dont you know the riddle of steel man ? The knife is not important, its about the hand. So keep searching on your own, and dont ask primitive questions. |

Actually B-LORD, I have significant knife training [but I don't know much about knives] please don't insult me when you know nothing of my martial arts history. The knife I finally do get may actually be used for it's intended purpose because I'm joining the Army. You are correct in saying the man holding the weapon is more important than anything else, but you don't want to wind up in a situation where your knife isen't up to the challenge. To eatingmuchface, don't be ridiculous, NEVER attempt to take on an opponent with ANY weapon empty-handed unless you have no choice AND are very well trained. And by the way an edged weapon is one of the worlds most feared [second only to the gun] and can cause infinantly more damage than your bare hands. A determined prepubescant child could kill you more easily with a razor blade than a professional boxer could with his bear hands. "Knife-fighting" isn't about strength, it's about SPEED, CUNNING, DECEPTION, AND FIGHTING DIRTY. IN A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION NEVER FIGHT FARE. |

| To eatingmuch face, I did not intend to insult you with my last post, it was meant to educate, not insult. |

I don't know much about knife fighting but fighting dirty is one of the rules you go by. I read this on the surefire web site on how to win a knife fight.
Please everyone help keep the forum a friendly and productive place.

Once again, apologies to everyone. B-LORD, never forget that while the man is more important than anything else. Your skill, however great, is limited by the quality of equipment you possess. I.E. Heckler and Koch MP5 series of Submachine Guns VS. The Uzi.

Slipfirep40, A byonet is useful, but only if you can keep your enemy at a distance. If someone with a knife gets in close you will likely have just enough time before you get your throaght cut to utter a choice swear word. |

mattmann1990: Your 100 percent correct havening the best knife or gun is only the best if one knows how to use it affectively in combat and survival.
My main defensive weapon is my Glock 23 when I'm out and about. I go to the range a lot and practice with it. I know how to work the Glock very well. I have never had to use it for defense but I hope if I have to I will be as ready as possible.

| Thats why you use the m16 "handle" to prevent them from getting close. It was a joke btw. |

U know sometimes i came here and i have bad mood (from before) and i write silly things, and you know, what is written you cant erase, and later you mourn that.
